New ringtone program from Toysoft in circulation

Danny Wong of Toysoft is beta testing on mytreo.net a new slimmed down version of Lighwav called mp3ringer. The application is a step forward for Toysoft in its long-running race with Mantra Group and Velocitware for the best selling ringtone management program. Toysoft has been focused on developing MP3 ringtone management programs for the Treo for over a year now and has the experience to produce an excellent slimmed down application in this category. If it’s priced below its competing applications that are priced higher because they are bundled with other non-ringtone features (such as call filtering, SMS-filtering and call notes), this application could outsell them and prove to be a very smart competitive move for the author.

mp3ringtone is a simple and robust mp3/wav/ogg/wma ringtone manager for the Treo600. Use any of the supported sound files with PocketTunes to replace MIDI ringtones. You can assign different ringtones to different people in your Contacts. mp3Ringer also supports event notifications such as SMS, MMS, VoiceMail and when the external card is ejected.
