New ChatterEmail Release Supports Treo 700p

ChatterEmail

Star Developer Marc Blank has released a new version of ChatterEmail. Called ChatterEmail+ 2.0, it’s been tested successfully with the new Treo 700p. Together with new and enhanced features this makes Chatter (as it is still called by many of its long-time supporters) the number one choice for the Treo user that isn’t satisfied with the built-in mail application.

ChatterEmail can turn your Palm OS based Treo into a Blackberry without any of the hassle of setting up servers or desktop redirectors. Once you’ve used one of the setup up wizards (available for GMail, AOL and Yahoo and others) or configured your own POP and IMAP profile, email can be pushed or pulled real-time or at user defined intervals.

I switched from SnapperMail to ChatterEmail several years ago and have never regretted it (in case you’re wondering, I did try the built-in VersaMail when I first received my Treo 650 but gave up within 48 hours). Recently I installed the OWA or Exchange Mail plugin, an amazingly clever addition that renders the Outlook Web Access as if it were a familiar POP mail account.
