VolumeCare - Boost the volume of your Treo 600 or Treo 650

Software Description: VolumeCare is an application that will allow you to set pre-defined default volume listening levels for each speaker type on your Treo. So you can preset the listening level for your earpiece separately from the Speaker Phone. VolumeCare also attempts to increase the maximum volume levels for each speaker. Users have reported results that very from no volume increase up to a 30% increase in their speaker phone volume.

Disclaimer: DO NOT configure VC to MAX volume levels! I am not responsible for broken speakers or blown ear drums….

  1. Alas this is not functioning on my Sprint Treo 650, Garnet v. 5.4.8, double checked install, resetting,

  2. Eureka, it works now! Mr. Jeff Gibson responded immediately to my support inquiry and quickly brought about a solution, errors entirely on my part. All better now and YES, IT IS MUCH LOUDER ALL ACCROSS THE SPECTRUM. Delighted with VolumeCare, it works!Keys: install onto phone, not SD card…and select (check) options in VCs prefs. Also, volume will increase with buttons pushed despite on screen showing it maxed out. Push for more volume, it’s there.Earpiece and Speakerphone much improved. Steve Rodoletz

  3. I install in my treo650 unlocked and work

  4. I have used Volume Care for about six weeks, but today after trouble shooting with Palm and Cingular about a problem with my palm backlight always switching off after 30 seconds, we determined it was Volume Care as the Culpret. VolumeCare installed = shut off after 30 seconds. VolumeCare uninstalled = my palm would stay on whatever the setting was.

    Anyone else have this problem?
    email me at kevinlewis@adelphia.net

  5. it seems to work only during phone calls, but unable to do anything with the media player (pocket tune)

  6. Will Volume Care boost the volume over a Blue tooth headset?
Also anytime I make or receive a call (while on my Blue Tooth) I have to increase the volume to max on the Treo, it doesn’t seem to remember the volume setting, is there a way around this and or to make it static?

  7. the only problem I have is… it doesn’t have an equalizer!!
to really have fun with this u need an equalizer on it ( at least for ringtone), so I can blare my ringtones without hearing it break up from low frequencies ! see in p tunes i turn down the 100 and 300 ( i think that’s right) all the way down, and turn the other 3 up.

  8. I am trying to buy VolumeCare from this website and I am having a hell of a time getting it! It keeps telling me I am not logged in. Once I log in (yes, I have registered and have a valid account) it recognizes that I have logged in until I go to download the trial version of VolumeCare….then it tells me to login again! Arrghhhhh! I have gone around in circles for over an hour. Help!

  9. Does this allow me raise the “timid” Treo600 ringer volume?

  10. I’m using Treo 755p, will this work on that version? Thanks
