Games for the Treo 600 and Treo 650

Playtime!

Let's face it, one of the best things about your Treo is the ability to have a quick play of something, anytime, anywhere. These games should help you fill up your spare time. :)

Arcade Games

Microquad - Quad-bike racing game, absolutely superb. Contains many levels and a bonus driver once you have completed all tracks. In addition to the basic racing against the other drivers there is an online high scores table, which makes the competition all the more intense.

Bike or Die - the only trail bike game out there. This is different to anything else you've ever played, the physics are surprisingly realistic! Lots of add-on packs available. Latest version includes sound and gore, which add to the fun. :)

Galax - Space Invaders clone.

Urc - A Space Invaders style game featuring very smooth controls, a good variety of enemies & power-ups, and rapidly advancing difficulty. Urc presents an interesting gameplay element in that you not only have to dodge bullets from the enemies but also debris from when they explode. There are no Galaxian-style collisions to avoid, on the other hand.

Handigolf∞ - Shareware, some cash to open unless you can find the reg code, very naughty, but it's not bad, not slow, but the graphics leave a lot to be desired.

Puzzle Games

Aardpuzzle∞ - Codeword type puzzle. This generates a random crossword with numbers instead of letters. 8 difficulty levels, both UK and US editions exist.

Bejeweled! - Swap coloured crystals to make lines, the lines disappear and more crystals drop down. Simple and addictive.

Gem Heist - Still in beta, but a stable and relatively solid freeware clone of Bejeweled.

Bubbles - Fire coloured bubbles at the advancing wall to burst lines. Another simple but addictive game.

Strategy Games

Pocket City - SimCity Clone.

Warfare Incorporated - Real Time warfare strategy, with both base building levels and commando raids. Tons of add-on levels available from developers website.

Board/Pub Games

Crosswords - Great Scrabble clone, and free!

Domino! - Dominos game.

Dart Deluxe II∞ - Darts Game.

Yahdice Freeware version of the game Yahtzee

Coconut Fern∞ - Connect four but without the lost pieces- Completely Free

Concentration∞ - Concentration, match the pair of cards v. the computer or v. human. Time killer really.

Shisensho∞ - Similar to Majhong (sp), but one layer of tile. Free, and somewhat challenging.

Word Wiggle∞ - Very similar to Boggle, but there isn't a function to devine which are scored words and which aren't. Esentially you have to be honest with yourself.

Gaming on Palm, while some one deficient, isn't entirely dead! Here are a few companies that offer games that will work on your Treo:

Astraware∞, makers of the frighteningly addictive game Bejeweled.

Clickgamer∞, makers of the highly regarded (and thrillingly named) game Bike or Die!.

The best might be Little John Multiemulator∞, just for stability and comprehensiveness. It is also freeware.

KalemSoft∞ has a number of favorites, including NesEm.
