GPRS Settings for the Treo
Note: If you cannot find your GPRS settings or you cannot connect to the Internet with GPRS settings from the table below, please contact your network operator to obtain more information about your account's GPRS settings.
Create a GPRS Connection
Before you begin, make sure that you have gathered your account information from your network operator or from the table below.
For the Treo 650:
1. Go to Prefs > Network
2. Go to Menu > Service > New (press "Menu" then "N")
3. In Service type a friendly service name like "GPRS Connection"
4. In Connection select "GPRS" from the dropdown options.
5. Enter the User Name, Password and APN as provided by your carrier or from the table below.
6. Press "Details..." then "Advanced..."
7. Leave the IP Address is Automatic (checkbox ticked)
8. If you know the DNS address(es) uncheck the Query DNS box and enter the DNS address(es).
9. Press OK twice and then "Connect" to try connecting. If there is a problem, check your settings.
10. Press "Done" when finish setting up the connection.
