Voice recording is here for the Treo 600! Our thanks go to the wonderful Treo software developer Ryan at infinityball.com who has released a great new application SoundRec (v1.01). SoundRec is a simple sound recording application that allows Treo 600 phones that have been updated with the latest firmware (v3.04) to record short voice memos. This is a very early release but still works exceptionally well, providing very clear recording and playback. Future features will include: export recordings as WAV/MP3 to the SD card, store recordings on the SD card, adjust volume and sound quality levels, attach alarms and dates to recordings, quick launch buttons for one touch recording. The author has also released a new version of MovieRec (v1.12) which will now record video with sound on your Treo 600.
