Verizon Centro Software Update Released
Last Wednesday, Palm released a software update for the Verizon Centro. Not unlike the updates for the Verizon Treo 700p and 755p, Palm is again vague about the update and what improvements it will bring about.
According to Palm, the “software update is a minor tune-up that may improve device usability in certain situations.”
As usual, this update is provided in two formats - a SD card update for all operating systems, and a HotSync update for Windows XP and Vista. Unfortunately, due to issues with our FTP server, we are unable to host the files (which are 20.7 and 21.3MB, respectively) in our downloads section at this moment.

Any word on if this improves the bluetooth audio?
after updating can you restore all your apps and data with nv backup? or are there any old verizon files that it will try to over write over the new update?
Just performed, this update on my phone and a major change appeared to be a CDMA modem updater.
No improvement on bluetooth. I can’t believe Palm is still struggling. It makes me sad that palm doesn’t care enough about its customers to put some money into creating a new OS that is actually worthy of modern phones.
this just reset my entire phone
