Treo Video Comedy Contest
Do you enjoy making videos with your Treo? Now you can take a shot at stardom in Palm’s Treo Mobile Comedy Contest.
“Since the introduction of sites like YouTube,” writes Colleen Werner on the official Palm blog, “it seems like everyone and their brother are shooting and creating videos on pretty much any topic that you can imagine. Just the other day I saw a video on giant robots playing foosball. [See right.] Since it’s obvious that a lot of people out there love to make short films, we thought it would be cool to host a film festival - a Treo-specific film festival to be exact.”
Films will be screened on MobiTV, and top entries will be eligible to win cash awards. Treo users who just want to watch will receive free trials of MobiTV and opportunities to attend the LA ceremony.
The following prizes will be awarded:
- Best of Festival: $5,000 cash prize, a mobile film-making toolkit, plus travel and accommodations for the October 18th Los Angeles gala event.
- This Mobile Life: $2,000 cash prize, a mobile film-making toolkit, plus travel and accommodations for the October 18th Los Angeles gala event.
- Best Animation: $2,000 cash prize, a mobile film-making toolkit, plus travel and accommodations for the October 18th Los Angeles gala event.
- Retake: $2,000 cash prize, a mobile film-making toolkit, plus travel and accommodations for the October 18th Los Angeles gala event.

My Directory Assistance is not working. How can I resolve this issue?
I was about ready to trash my 650 when I found this website. I’ve learned so much from the forums, comments, etc. All you have to do is put it out there and somebody is going to help you. That’s fabulous. I have several co-workers that I’ve sent here. They REALLY think I’m a wizard :) now.
