  1. Have anyone experienced the battery life of this device; Siedio I need your help quick

  2. How are you finding the battery life? If you turn everything off (Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth etc) and just keep the phone radio on what kind of talk/standby time do you get?

Also, how long will it run on WiFi before it dies?

  3. Just a quick observation, You are going to have to buy all new accessories with the new micro usb sync connector.

  4. my espeerience w/ the battery life. w/ gps locator on, no bluetooth. regular phone & heavy text usage and a little bit of interner download, about 5mb. the phone came off the charger @ 7am and died about 2:45pm. i’m sure it would have died w/ bluetooth enabled a lot sooner. today I have gps locator off and bluetooth on, w/ same variables like heavy text messaging and internet downloads, it is 12:30pm and I still have 73% battery life. so I think the phone battery is descent if you have gps off. I had the same problem w/ the samsung instinct. I guess gps uses a lot of power to run.

  5. Palm OS version?

    Please?

    nevermind.

  6. Groundbreaking? Hardly.

    Good, yes. Overdue, yes.

I would say that the 800 is just about in the middle of the pack of Smartphones.

    Groundbreaking would have been:
    TV Out
    1300+mAh battery
    512/256 megs RAM/ROM
    500mhz+ processor
3+ megapixel camera + flash light & autofocus
    FM radio

Actually, sorry, those are the specs for the HTC Touch Pro, so I guess ground breaking would have to be quite a bit more…

Don’t get me wrong, I love my Treo, the features on this Treo are the things others have offered for a long time…

Sorry Palm, you’re still way behind the competition. Still coasting on the success of the 600…
