This new build has 2 main advantages over the original windows mobile version of TCPMP:

  1. It will run on the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 devices where the original build crashes (crash.txt message).
  2. It supports the FLV file format straight out of the CAB.

  1. We have to give the people who originally created this gem their dues. TCPMP is perhaps the best free application out there, whether for WM or Palm OS. (The Core Media Player being their commercial result.) But what’s especially amazing is they’re allowing different persons to evolve TCPMP to where it is today. (And kudos to those people too!) For YouTube fanatics you can add the FlashVideoBundle cab and download ANY video from the site straight to your phone. Do a google search. You’ll find it in many places.
    BTW it plays OGG music files also!

  2. hey guys im having a problem as to (how to install) the tcpmp….when i look at my phone i can see it in a zip mobile(and whatever’s in there also) but i cant see the installer…..or maybe im a little ignorant to the technical know how. so can anybody look out and school me to this……

  3. whenever I attempt to change the EQ it sounds like my speakers are busted on my treo 800w. Sure this problem has been addressed, just hoping some1 could help me out

  4. Can someone post a Install guide: for “Core pocket media player for Treo 800w” Do you install it from the memory card or via usb? and where do the support file transfered too?
