palmSource CEO resigns

ABC News is reporting that David Nagel, the CEO of palmSource (the developer of the operating systems underlying the Treo 600 and Treo 650 smartphones), unexpectedly resigned. In a prepared statement, the company gave no reason for Nagel’s departure, which was effective on Sunday. Patrick McVeigh, formerly the Senior Vice President responsible for worldwide licensing, will serve as interim CEO while the board searches for a permanent replacement.
