She knew the bullet points they trained her with, but she absoluely did not know computers or gadgets. Palm shouldn’t have put her in that position.
I agree, sounds to me like this was one of the first demos she was doing on the phone. Than again they didn’t want her speaking about a lot of the finer details, just the bullet points that they touched on in the unveiling.
I agree with you 2 but i think its a really nice phone and i look forward to getting it.
Does any1 know when this should be coming out for sprint?
She was a nice enough person and hit the talking points, a step above the ladies that stand next to the cars at auto shows.
For the size of the crowd (with little else happening at CES) Palm probably had to have a lot of meagerly trained folks around to give the demos.
What’s kind of odd is that with so many Palm fanboys (and fangrrls) around who’d show enthusiasm AND knowledge, Palm seems to prefer plucking their demo people up at college pep rallies and Labor Ready offices.
…which seems to be the same crowd that have beta tested all their previous phones…
yeah but how many palm fanboys or fangirls are going to keep their mouth shut about the top secret stuff… if you pick someone who doesn’t understand it then you have a better chance of keeping the lid on things…
…..will it run older Palm OS apps???
she did what they paid her 4
Hey, What happened to the old PalmOS? I’m not going to pay for internet I’m not going to use. WebOS please. It’s like the Iphone, you can’t use the phone without having an internet plan. I want an upgrade to the 755p thats not windowsOS and not webOS.
