iTunes Available for WM Treo Smartphones
At CTIA in Orlando this week, Avvenu announced that its Music Player for Windows Mobile 5 is out of closed beta. You can now listen to and share your iTunes music library on your PC by streaming music directly to your device.

Avvenu’s new mobile music service allows iTunes users to listen to and share their iTunes music library anytime, anywhere, by streaming music directly to Windows Mobile Smartphone devices.

The Avvenu Music Player is a web-based service that allows users to listen and share music from their iTunes playlists. Avvenu users can now listen to their iTunes music collection using the Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile on Smartphones including the Palm Treo 750 and Treo 700w, Motorola Q, and the Samsung Blackjack. After successful completion of a closed beta test program, the Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile is now available to the public.

To begin using the Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile, users can simply fill a form at: http://getit.avvenu.com from their PC to begin installing the application. Once a user provides their mobile phone number, they will receive a SMS message to their Windows Mobile device with quick and easy to follow instructions to get them up and running on the new Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile.
The Avvenu Music Player for Windows Mobile recognizes iTunes playlists, artist names, album names, song names and musical genres. The Avvenu Music Player beta release for Windows Mobile includes the following features:
- Sharing up to 250 songs with friends
- Supports the Palm® Treo 700w, Motorola Q, and the Samsung Blackjack Smartphones
- Remotely listen to users’ iTunes music collections, even when their PC is turned off
- Supports MP3, AAC and WMA music file formats
