Demo Treo 750 units in Cingular stores?

mytreo.net member jayin0507 has joined others in reporting that Treo 750v demo units have begun appearing in Cingular stores. Last month Palm lowered guidance to financial analysts because of manufacturing delays for the device. At that time, Palm’s CEO Ed Colligan expressed his view that the company would start shipping the device the U.S. market early in third quarter of fiscal year 2007 (or roughly January).

Does the appearance of demo units suggest we will see the Treo 750v rolled out in the US prior to Christmas? Maybe. It’s certainly a strong indication we’ll see the device in the US first in days or weeks - not months.

  1. That is really werid that the just have the phone there and not sell it to anyone.
They should not really do that only a month ahead of the release date.

  2. go to ebay, I got mine there and it works great in Canada, and likely any GSM network.
