The largest consumer electronics show in the world, CES, is around the corner. Running Monday through Friday, and expected to attract more than 100 thousand attendees, CES promises exciting product announcements by the top consumer electronics companies in the world.

A rumor is circulating the Treo community that Palm will announce the US rollout of the Windows Mobile Treo 750. While we cannot confirm the rumor, we know from reliable sources that there are several new Treo devices being announced in 2007, including major improvements to existing lines. Naturally, mytreo.net will be at CES with videocasting and podcasting equipment in hand, prepared to cover any action that may transpire. Check here first for updates!

This year, Palm announced another great way to get in on the fun. The company has created a special CES 2007 Micro Blog. Conference attendees can share experiences using their laptop computers or Treo smartphones while wandering the floor. Contributors will automatically be entered to win a drawing for one of three Treo smartphones!

  1. I may be late to realize this, but my treo is becoming the ultimate mini media machine! With 5 full length movies on my 2gb sd card that I could watch on a whim using TCPMP. A full featured MP3 player using PTunes, makes me forget to bring my ipod to work. A full featured CRM tool using Agendus keeps me on track with business and personal schedules. Let’s not forget, my trusty Zagats guide to the best restaurants in the city. Me Likey my treo 650. I could only imagine what’s in store with new models for 2007? How about a thinner slider version with Wifi so I could consider Google part of my instant on brain. Treo’s are really amazing devices - they’ve come a long way since their card insert into the handspring.

  2. finaly WIFI!!!!!?????
