Have you ever wished you could get more out of your Treo without breaking down and buying a spare battery or a larger battery? Well if you purchase Power Hero it may just solve many of your power problems!!

Upon opening the application you are greeted with the screen shown to the right. From this screen Power Hero enables you to increase dramatically the amount of time your Treo will run on a single charge with its stock battery! There are several options available to change from this screen. The tabs in green are enabled while the options in grey are disabled. You can also change the brightness of the screen from this screen by simply dragging the tab toward the desired brightness level. The entire time you are on this screen you are also able to track your power usage in real-time.

By clicking on the Power Saver tab you are greeted with the following screen:

From this screen, you as you can see, you are able to control many different items. Bluetooth, infrared, and keyboard lights are all heavy power consumers. Power Hero gives you the ability to turn them off automatically after the amount of time you decide. Keeping these functions off will really help conserve your battery.

One of the truly innovative functions of Power Hero turns Bluetooth on automatically when you receive a call, and turns it off shortly after the end of the call. While this feature seems to depend slightly on the Bluetooth earpiece that you use, it is an outstanding power saver!

We all know that a Treo or Centro will struggle to find a signal, and lose precious power in doing so. Save your battery by automatically shutting off your phone if the signal is lost.

The Miscellaneous tab lets you change a few other setting in order to tweak out the most juice from you battery!!

By clicking on the arrow tab in the top right corner of the home screen you can view your average battery life based on an average usage as below or by your current usage.

After thoroughly testing Power Hero I am a very satisfied customer. It has substantially increased my battery life and I am able to get 12 hours of battery life daily and this includes having a constant connection on my Chatteremail e-mail account! I would have to give this application a five out of five on my scale as it does an outstanding job of supervising your battery life!!
