With all the excitement being shown recently about the growth of mytreo.net, I thought now would be timely for an article and thread that poses the question, "when will we add our 10,000th member?"  Although mytreo.net has only been around for five months, the growth rate has been staggering and the community already has over 9,000 members.  In my view this is a testament to the incredibly high quality user base and community here. 

My thread here is for members to guess at the exact moment mytreo.net will surpass the 10,000 member mark.  Contribute your best guess there. (There may be a prize for the winner!)

When I expressed interest in writing this, the administration informed me that the growth rate has been around 2,000 members per month, fueled by word of mouth, search engines and click-throughs from Treo-community forums.  The growth has accelerated recently from 50 members signing up per day to closer to 100 members, perhaps in anticipation of the Treo Ace.  Many weeks site traffic exceeds 40,000 visitors including guests.

The my treo.net community waits with bated breath to learn of the exact time and date of this extraordinary event!  Many people have all ready taken an interest in this topic, including Allgamer, DickieD, Alli,SanDW, Revdkathy, FernandoSQ, Rosenft and of course Chris our chief administrator, all of whom have posted their guesses as to the precise time and moment the great milestone will occur.  Revdkathy, it has been mentioned, is keeping a betting book.  Of course, that’s only hearsay!

With all the great work that everybody does here at MTDN, it shouldn’t be much longer until we see reach 10,000.
