mytreo.net Member Spotlight: Kate O’Neill

Recently, I had the pleasure to get to know Kate O’Neill, mytreo.net member since 2005. Kate has been an active participant in the mytreo.net community, and is one of many great people you can get to know in the forum. She contributes about her diverse interests ranging from technology to music.

Kate is a veteran Palm Pilot owner, having owned one of the first models ever released. She also purchased a Treo 650 immediately when it was released. She says her Treo keeps her organized in dual careers as a songwriter and a project manager in the software industry. Because Kate keeps an incredibly busy schedule, she uses the calendar features coupled with the 2day by SHSH Software calendar enhancement to manager her time.

As a songwriter, Kate found BugMe! Notepad from Electric Pocket useful to jot down ideas for her music. Kate told me her favorite accessory is the Innodock cradle by Seidio, which she uses in conjunction with CradleCare by GoTreo Software to sync her Treo every fifteen minutes. Kate also uses ChatterEmail by Marc Blank to keep track of all her important emails.

Kate is an exceptionally talented musician. Kate and her husband, Karsten, own Honey Bowtie Music. Created in 1997, Honey Bowtie Music is a music publishing company located in Nashville, TN. Kate and Karsten also write and perform. Kate is an accomplished clarinetist and lyricist. We highly recommend sampling her music.
