I've had this problem for a long time, I might as well ask the experts. I can use my bluetooth sierra keyboard as unsecured, but when I try to add it to the secure devices it times out and says can't add as secured.

Is there a special security pass code for the keyboard or do you just set your own, and does it have to be a certain length?

This doesn't bother me too much, but I don't really want someone else pairing up with my keyboard in the library!  (I'd say that would be rare, but possible)

I don't know the Sierra, but on the virtual laser keyboard I had you had to type the desired pin code on the keyboard (including pressing enter) and then you'd get prompted to enter the matching pin on the Treo.  I know most devices have a default pin of 0000, but most devices don't have a keyboard to enter a custom pin like a keyboard does.  No manual for the thing that you could download to find out for sure?

I think that's becasue once it's paired no one else can pair to it until it's unpaired 123 is as secure as you need

that makes sense then it can only pair one item at a time
