Heck you can't even "steal" win95 or win98 @Robin I'm all for merging this thread with the thread wherein The White Method for TealOS is shared, maybe then these Code stealers will off and do the right thing, what say?

Ehh, the problem with merging threads is that topic notifications get lost. I usually try to avoid merging threads for that reason...

Hey....
I say merge and let the code stealers have their day. If by some chance, prolly when H - E -Double Hocky Sticks freezes over, that Teal Os is a bonified, updated article again, then we can get the codes back from the code stealers.......
Sound like a plan? Stan?

A'ight well as anyone following this thread doesn't deserve notifications (they are trying to crack something that cracks are not needed) I'll move it once I figure out where that other thread is. P.S. the way of getting the code does involve spending money to the correct people to get it.

Forget TealOS, I purchased it and the App-Store has removed it! Now it only shows under Free Trials and TealPoint no longer sells it. I tried to update to the latest and now I have a nag screen and my original key doesn't work so it looks as if I'm leaving Palm for Android soon! After 9 years of supporting this company I'm finally pissed and dumping them. Thanks a lot Palm. This platform is too expensive anyway, If I were to go with the Pre I'd have to buy new cradles and batteries etc. Screw it I'm done! So glad I didn't go for the GPS add on... BTW: Palm has requested that TealPoint stop selling TealOS.... Thanks again Palm for slamming the door on your previous customers! I can understand not selling TealOS going forward, but screwing people who purchased it prior to the request is just wrong!!!!

Try getting the version from our downloads section. If that fails, send an email to TealPoint support and they should be able to help you out. Going through an app store puts a troublesome middleman in the process.

I think the person is getting palm confused with tealos app- tealos application was never a genuine palm application. It was a third party app that got out without the approval of palm, and palm protected their rights. It was produced by tealpoint software.
IF you have your original copy perhaps it would still work, but it most likely was linked to your user name of your original palm, so if you change your user id then it won't work.
Solution, contact tealpoint via an email and explain what happened, maybe they will help you.

maybe it's because I'm daft (or not on sprint) but what is this mythical "app store" this poster keeps talk about? (I really need to find the thread with the white method request and answers <YAWN> * their plight bores me*

Perhaps the software section on Palm's site? Never been fond of that...most apps are old versions and the site isn't very well made.
