PicSMS 1.16 Feature Request

Hi Sir

I always fight with my girlfriend telling her that I text her more than she does to me.  So I was thinking that maybe instead of, or in addition to, having an overall/global statistics count; maybe the app can have statistics per contact.

Maybe to if there is an option that you cant select the user from the chat window, and then select statistics from the menu, and it will give the outgoing and incoming messages.  It would even be teriffic if you can select the period, but this last date range feature is not really necessary.

P.S. Given that I am on the topic, why is it that after a restore from a hard reset, PicSMS doesn't play the assigned sound for the contact.  I checked the individual contact media settings and an MP3 ringtone (added by Mini Tones) was assigned, I press the test button and it plays it. I pressed on Save, but after receiving a text message from somebody, it still doesn't play a sound (and that's because I have already the ALLCONTACTS with a good setting.  Any ideas?!

Second question - after reading about SMSCommander, will the app work correctly if I have PicSMS is password protected with applications like SecureApp?

Hi ron, we can add that feature. We will find a way to make it possible. It will be a large database if ever implimented.

PictureSMS saves it's settings on databases and Treo's Preferences files. If both are restored, your setting will be there as it used to be. 

Yes, SMS Commander should work with any 3rd party apps.
