Phil,

Since ChatWorks uses the BitlBee gateway, is there instructions on how to set up a BitlBee server/gateway in a Windoze environment? I have searched the BitlBee website to no avail.

Jim,

When I decided to use BitlBee as my IM gateway it was with the idea that users could indeed host their own gateway. Unfortunately it's not that easy for the everyday user. See, the problem is that the latest version available for Windows is 0.81 (I think) and ChatWorks requires at least 1.0.4. You *can* host a 1.0.4+ gateway on a Windows server, you just have to compile it from source yourself. Keep your eye on the BitlBee site, I'm sure there will be a Windows version before long.
