Important Notes:

   1. SMS rules are evaluated from top to bottom.
   2. Once a rule is evaluated to be TRUE, no other rules are evaluated, and the action of that rule will be implemented. Disabled rules are exempted from this.
   3. The order of the rules is changeable. The order will make a difference on how SMS Machine responds to the situations.
   4. To auto reply with SMS for missed calls, use Auto Reply with SMS rule and set it for call (and SMS).
   5. Use the asterisk (*) character to denote ALL incoming numbers in the phone number field.


Tip:

Exact phone numbers and wild card rules are the quickest and swiftest ways to do the jobs. Because on these rules, there is no contact searching involved.

Hello,

I have a TREO 650 with the newest ROM update (it is one with the English/Chinese software installed on the ROM). After installing SMS MACHINE (and all other software removed - on a clean reset TREo 650!), my Treo reboots, but then freezes with the message

ERROR 66: LIBRARY NOT FOUND

popping up. Only solution is to erase all content by doing a HARD RESET and removing SMS MACHINE….

Any Help?

Thanks for the report. We are now tracing the problem.

For now, uninstall it first by using warm reset and we will release the next version soon.

BTW, are you both using CDMA?

thank you for your quick reply.

I am using the following device:

TREO 650 GSM (no GSM lock - bought is as GSM version)
Firmware: 01.71
SotwareL Treo650-1.20-APR
Hardware: A
PalmOS language (on Treo): English / Chinese

And when the error happens, I cannot reset it or restart it - error will happen again. I have to ERASE all data and (including SMS Machine... )

I just tried to set-up one rule:

I designed SMS Machine to work with the leading ringtone managers such as Ringo, mRing, Ring Care, MiniTone, Music Tones etc. It is the missing link for the Treo users who purchased these apps.

Running SMS Machine and Call Block simultaneously will have an unexpected result. Remember, Call Block is not compatible with 3rd party apps as per the user manual.

If it works for you, I'll give you a discount coupon. The coupon is a Christmas Sale discount for finding out a bug. If not working, we have to go back to the drawing board. So let me know if it works.

Of course it won't work.

One of the safety features of SMS machine on Treo GSM is that you cannot try it to yourself to avoid SMS/reset loop. 

You will receive normal SMS if you sent it from the same Treo. Any rules will be disregarded.

Here is something I would like to see... and this would have to tie in with PictureSMS... so it's a good reason to get BOTH.

Have an option that when an SMS is received... if you haven't read or responded (pick either as options) after a time set by the user it would send an SMS.

For example... I'm working and away from my phone. My sweetie sends me a txt. If I haven't picked up the phone in 10 minutes... it sends the text to her.

this could be tied in with the nag in PictureSMS.... or in SMSmachine... but would be a neat link between both.

Just an idea...

that's a great idea!!  My kids send me text message all the time.. and sometime if I don't answer fast enough my daughter is calling me .. and usually the reason I didn't answer is because I can't get to the phone or am really busy at work.......

Thanx - I have tried - SMS Machine running at the same time with Call Block will cause some weird things i.e. ring tone note played, etc. etc. What is the best of the above mentioned programs that can play MP3 ringtones, associated with times and does not cause too much crash?
