pSMSLauncher plug-in (2Kb).

This free plug-in will let you compose and send SMS anywhere in your Treo. You can put it on your launcher and manually launch it. Or assign it to a button for the long-press or key combination access. No need to go to the main PictureSMS or the Treo phonebook contacts just to send SMS. If Nokia phones can do it, so can we. hehe.

It's nice that you can hot key into a quick message but I don't like that it sends you to the Applications Launcher after that.  Why not send me back to the program that I was in when i wanted to send the message?

I can be in pretty much any program and hold down the P key which is a favorite of the phone application.  After hitting done, it sends me to the Palm Application program, not back to where I was.

pSMSlauncher is just like an ordinary application not a DA. So when you run it, Palm OS will close the currently open software first then run pSMSlauncher.

It is available at the Suntzu website - the link above is "correct", but incorrect due to capitalization (the "sms" should be "SMS"), which of course makes a difference on the Linux server.
