Initiate - I don't understand the benefits

I agree...ZL was a bear to configure at first.  It wasn't until Perry G posted his incredible tutorial that it all began to fall into place.

I do like having something that can be made to look streamlined tho - a jumble of icons can be very distracting when you just want to check the time, or take a look at your battery life.  I8 is getting better, and hopefully it will eventually become just as tweakable as is ZL.

Now if we can just get PG to create a similar one for I8...

However it's so easy to set up it's hardly required

one thing that i am still waiting for with initiate is to be able to change icons

i loved that feature with zlauncher and u can also do that with treo launcher

I major feature that i find in Initiate PRO is the Voice Dialing/Launching feature. I can dial up to 15 people by voice and I can run any application. When I want to listen to music, I just say PLAY MUSIC and it launches PTunes!

I'm using Initiate for a long time now. The latest version I have on my T650 is v3.28. For the new v3.34 I should upgrade. Does it worth? What are the benefits compared to V3.28.

Not much change in between these versions. You would get another year of free upgrades though.

Hmmm. Maybe I need to try the latest version. Maybe it won't crash constantly!

I have to say that I have tried several launchers and I really like Initiate the best.  Believe me, I was skeptical at first, but its a powerful launcher and very user friendly.  It may not be as pretty as some of the other launchers, but its getting there.  I would rather have a launcher that does what I want it to and is easy to use then one that looks pretty that I have to take graduate classes to figure out.

OK - so how do I install skins in I8 standard? I just got a free copy as a store member, and put three skins in RAM, but they aren't in the list of skins in I8...

ZL was never this hard to figure out!!!!

EDIT: Never mind... I was looking at Ver 2 skins. HAY CV!!! Maybe you ought to put V2 skins on a separate page!!!
