I heard that treo600 support java if you download a java plugin from palmone website. I did it and syn to my treo600 according to someone posted before. From the javademo palmone gave, it showed that treo600 is now supporting java.

However, it didn't work when I used some java games which worked well in my nokia 6610 and transferred to treo600 with java2prc program.

Finally, I tried some java games designed for samsung phones, it just work.

Now my question is: what kind of java games are supported by treo600? Are there any differences for java games designed for S40 or S60 system?
Thanks a lot for reading wish everyone here Happy New Year!

Java was designed to write once then run everywhere. Unfortunately this is not true on small devices. Sad
I have heard people having success with games that work on Motorolas.

Okay, I really want to get java games on my treo. So i downloaded IBM java like you said, and you also said you download a midlet, but i couldn't find how to get it! So now when i open IBM java, and put in the address with the java game i want, an error comes up and says

"the application descriptor was missing the required MIDlet- Name Field

What do i do now?

Well, they did kinda (atleast claim to) invent the thing... :-D
Actually I had the Java Virtual Thing on my old Kyocera7135. I just never knew how to make it work like that...

Ended up that the IBM one from Palmone was required to get the T600 to behave properly for most java stuff...  Huh?
