This sounds good for all you SNES gamers.

Nope, I downloaded version 0.8 and it still doesn't work for SNES.

It could also be that the 13.3MBs are fragmented, so the largest continous bit is 4.4MB.
A soft reset should remedy this.  Smiley

No, it has to do with the dynamic heap size.  The 13.3 MBs are the storage heap.  Palm devices tend to have small dynamic heaps, which is why an extension like UDMH is useful.  Try UDMH for the trial period.  I've never used it, but as I said, others have reported that it works well.

Well, heck.

Maybe I need to play with a bit more or send the guy an email to see if he can fix it. If he could this would definitely be the very best emulator out there.

Another question.

Has anybody had any luck mapping the QWERTY keys for use with this emulator?

Using the function keys for everything is a bit cramped, wish the 5 WAY was on the left of the device, would make it easier to use for games.

So far so good.

Sound quality blows away Firestorm.  Smiley

There are a few small glitches on lores devices such as my T600, such as the ROM loading screen.  Going to see if I can fix that, shouldn't be too hard.

I'll take a look at the QWERTY issue too.  While I have some programming experience, I'm a Palm development newbie so I can't guarantee anything there.  Smiley

I just want lowres OSD support for my 600...  Sad

The T650 only has 6MB of dynamic heap.  This is the memory that LJP complains about; NOT the storage heap where you have 13MB+ free.  Try running UDMH.  There is a free trial period, so no commitment.  It's worked for some people (and has been referenced in the LJP forums).

Thanks arognlie.

Yeah; I understand the dynamic heap part, which is why I understand LJP's assessment of available memory when it is on.  So I understand wit roms that are like 4+MB or so, but not when it is only 256KB.  I dont usually use hacks, but i might check it out though.  Thanks again; holla

this is probably a stupid question but how do i exit from a game? My case does not have a convenient access to the soft reset button so it is difficult for me to reset when i want to stop playing.

One of the posts in this thread mentioned something about the need for a softgrafitti area.
Will grafitti anywhere help? How?

Yeah; this is sonething that should be documented.  To exit LJP while playing, you need to first tap the screen (this is how you access saved states, config, etc.), and then tap on "Launcher",  or you can also (after tapping the screen) press n e hard key or the home key and it will ask you "exit to launcher" and then tap "yes" (it will still just exit to the LJP launcher eever way).  Holla

ok.. thanks ... when i do this, a menu does pop up.  Smiley

it doesn't work on a treo 600 though because the menu
appears on the lower right corner of the screen.  no
a 320x320 might see this on the center of the screen.

oh well... i guess this is just something to look forward
to if i decide to upgrade to a 650.

I am not sure because I have not tried LJP on a 600 but I think this may have something to do with your initial set up, try messing with the properties some more, don't give up it is worth it.
