I sure can, tried it on my 650 today.

FINALLY THE SEARCH IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!

This thing works perfectly, I am running it from the SD card with no problems, it causes no resets, crashes, runs in full screen mode (have only tried GB and NES but I can assure you that I will be loading my SD card up with many many games)

If you want a true, playable emulator for ALL of your old games then this puppy is the one to get.

It takes a little time to set it up (map the buttons, set screen size etc) but once it is done it works flawlessly.

You will also need to use "Palm File Browser" to put all the right files in the right places (read the text file that comes in the zip file, it tells you where to put everything) but again, after 20 mins of set up I was happilly playing Mario and Zelda in GBC colour.

I will be deleting my NesEm program and just running this from now on, best of all, it is free (if you are REAL stingy), but do the dude a favour and donate a bit of cash to him, he is worth it.

GET IT!!!!

Wow, this emulator is amazing.  It runs NES ROMs way, way, way better than NesEm.  Sound still isn't perfect in some games (and, as usual, is slightly off in general) but it's amazing how many more mappers LJP supports.

runs in full screen mode

Strangely, it didn't run full screen for me.  It only seems to work in "x1" and "Full.x1(hi+)" for me, and both of those modes run the games with the same thick black border around them.  Is that different from the results you get?

KalemSoft is gonna have a tough time explaining why people should spend money on their software now.

Edit:  it runs fine with everything installed on the card -- awesome!

Hey, pampbell.  I'm using a USB card reader to copy stuff to my card, so my exerience might have been a little different from yours.  As well, I set up LJP to run entirely off the card.  This is what I've got installed:

/PALM/Launcher/ljp.prc
/PALM/Programs/LJP/ljp-nes.zem
/PALM/Programs/LJP/NES/[roms].nes

(Apparently LJP will run zipped ROMs, which could save a lot of space.)

LJP creates the directories it needs on the card the first time you run it -- if you had already created a directory for the ljp-nes.zem file, perhaps LJP created a second directory?  You could use a program like Filez to make sure that there aren't two sets of /PALM/Programs/LJP/ directories (or even to double check that nothing is spelled wrong, if you created the directories yourself -- I did that one myself, actually).

Yep, me too. I am running entirely from the SD card, no files or apps on the internal card at all and it works perfectly.

Remember the .zem files need only be in the PALM/PROGRAMS/LPJ folder and NOT in the respective device folders (SNES, GB, NES etc)

There isn't a direct correlation between how much free memory is on your device and how much memory is available for running a game.  For instance, my Info screen says that I have 13.3M free, but the LJP launcher reports only 4.4M.

I hear that people have had great luck using a program called UDMH which increases the amount of RAM the Palm thinks it has available for use.  It has a limited trial so you can see whether it works for you before buying it.

It could also be that the 13.3MBs are fragmented, so the largest continous bit is 4.4MB.
A soft reset should remedy this.  Smiley

Ahhhkk

I am getting the "Out of Memory" splash screen when I try to run SNES games too, then a soft reset as well.

Anybody got any clues.

I have just been playing loads of different GBC games though and it handles all of them without a problem.
