I was using the SPCS Aqua but just deleted it. it causes screen corruption of the phone preferences screen on my 700p.

Hi,
i've made a small patchfile without images for the call duration in call details

Regards,
Toem

Hi Toem,

thanks for the patch, just one question: if I want to unistall this patch, is there any particular procedure or can I just delete the prc file?

Thanks & Ciao

You have only delete the prc file from RAM.

I have never been able to get this to work.  I have the same firmware and software numbers as quoted.  I have tried a few times and nothing works.  For install, I transfer from the card using Filez.

Could this be because I am on Rogers in Canada?

No replies... I guess either I am the only one who cannot get this to work, or I am the only member here using Rogers in Canada.

Hey Willowz...

I am on Rogers and I use this phone duration overlay and everything worked immediately and as expected.

Sorry to hear about your problems but I have no suggestions for why you might be having them.

Would you mind explaining how you installed it?  I transfered it to my SD card via Card Reader.  I then copied it to the device via Filez.  The only call duration I can see is at the end of a call when a pop-up screen indicates the call has ended and how long it was.

Please advise.

Try again but, before copy from SD to internal memory, shut off the phone. I had a crash on my Sprint 700p the first time I tried with the phone on. I was successful fter turning the radio off.

I used Pinstall and transferred via IR link from my laptop at home (only do true sync's at work).

Did you try doing a soft reset after installation?

My Treo Rocks!

« Reply #73 on: 08 January 2007, 16:05:17 »

This worked brilliantly as soon as I figured out I had to remove the .txt from the end of the filename.  What I find fascinating is that I figured that since I had just installed it only call duration from this point forward would be available.  Much to my surprise, I have call duration for every call I've made.  This indicates to me that Palm programmed the ability to track/store call duration without actually including the ability to display it.  Bizarre.

Thanks to all who discovered the problem, worked on it, and provided the solution.

Still no go.  I give up.  I know the phone app is recording the data because I have a desktop app that extracts all phone calls from the hot sync file.  Every call has a duration.
