Bob,

You do not afraid the memory effect happen to the battery when you said you top up in the middle of the day?

Well well well, lots people said no memory effect in nowsaday battery which I am not believing much.

Li-Ion batteries do not have the memory effect.

Thanks Yulianto !

Jaytee - I checked the Firmware / Software on mine and is the same as yours
ie Fware MW01.50 and Sware Treo690-1.04ROW

I don't know why you wouldn't have the Select Network option if your phone was unlocked

Just for clarity it appears on mine when you are on the Phone display, press menu button, and under the Options menu there is the Select Network option

It is NOT in the Network options in the Palm Preferences

Because the Cingular Sims disable this option.

Sorry folks - typing error - Software version mentioned in my earlier post should have said TREO680   not TREO690 !

Because the Cingular Sims disable this option.

So, are you saying that if I purchase an unlocked 680 from palm.com, I won't be able to change networks if I put in my current Cingular sim in? I'm just a little confused...  uhoh
