(Du m1knytte deg til denne tienested via WAP-leseren p1 din mobiltelefon). Can you tell me what this means?
It says "You must connect to this service using a WAP reader on your mobile)." And I had Blazer set up to use my ISP's WAP proxy when I did this.

Alternatively, can anyone post the URL of the actual hi-memory download file? When I go to mini.opera.com/tv2/ most browsers see it as a file. In Blazer, I can see the link to the download file, but I can't get the actual url.
I clicked on the link and Blazer asked if I should let Java handle this or save to card. I let java do it's work. If you think the LoFi version of Opera Mini might help I can send that to the downloads too.

Has anyonne been able to browse for any period of time w/o a reset? If so what are your settings in the IBM Java VM prefs? I get a reset after about 5-10 pages of surfing and sometimes i have to double tap links because the don't load the first time?
I found that setting that setting the maximum memory setting above 1MB in the IBM Java Preferences caused my phone to reset very frequently like you are experiencing. Setting the memory to 1MB seemed to make it more stable. However, setting the memory that low prevented the browser from displaying some images.

It's worth a try - would you post the lo-fi also? Thx, Shneor

Does anyone know of a public-accesible wap proxy? Or alternatively, can someone with a Treo 600 who uses one download Opera Mini from the source at mini.opera.com/tv2/ ? (And post it in the download section here) I suspect the prc resulting from the Treo 650 conversion is a bit different than the one that would result on the Treo 600.

The LoFi version is AFAIK identical to the HiFi except they have removed some pretty graphics, and try to use less memory in general. Both work great on my 650. If I could just get the bluetooth network up after my PC reinstall I could really stress test these babies.

Thanks, Christine! It runs OK on the 600. But how do you enter a url and have it go there rather than going to Google?
Memory should not be a problem as I have over 11 mb free, and have UDMH (tried the hires with and without UDMH).

When you click on Menu/Meny it's the top one of the menu choices.
Glad you got it working on the 600! Do you use the HiFi or LoFi version?

BTW any non-norwegians tried the "Send til en venn" link on the start page?
You enter your friend's phone number, and they get an SMS with installation instructions.
Remember that Opera Mini work on most java mobiles such as Sony Ericsson K750 & lots of others.

Lo-fi. It gives yo the option to look at an image or not. Not a bad strategy for speed. Shneor

Has anyone been able to fix one-handed navigation so that the highlight only moves once per button press? Also, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I often need to enter a web address twice. The first time will say "Processing" but nothing happens. This same thing happens sometimes just following links - I need to click them twice. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks a million Christine for helping us all with this. It's a real treat having Opera running now!
