...All three take literally hours, so I never have time to finish.  First it would stay stuck on Calendar(for hours b4 I just had to interupt/stop it). So then I had it "Do Nothing" on the Calendar.  Then Tasks did the same, so I changed it, then Contacts. 

So now when I'm applying an app or simply synching, I have to have it "Do Nothing" on those categories.  Eventually I'm going to  need to sync those.

It doesn't get stuck when I'm running a back up on my SD Card(on both Backup Buddy & Backup Plus).

Is there a fix for this???

Sounds like your conduits may have gotten corrupted.

I'd try uninstalling the PalmOne software, rebooting, and then re-installing.

thanks, I just did that(twice) and it STILL gets stuck on "Calendar".  Is there anything else I need to do, or something else to try Huh?

of you are using the bundled sync software, it stinks. Many people have had success with PocketMirror XT

Have you tried running dbScan on your Treo? This will find and fix/delete corrupted records in your PIM databases that can cause a Sync to hang.

Yes I just got DBscan yesterday, I've ran it Several times(deleted 28 coruted or misplaced records), and Rebooted the Pa1mOne software a few times, but still no luck.

I guess I'll give "Pocket Mirror" a shot??

I had the same issue. I ended up uninstalling the P1 Desktop and HotSync and re-installing it... Somehow the conduits became corrupted and I ended up having 2 of each of Outlooks Db types (2 contacts, 2 calendar, etc) and it just hung on the ones that seemed to be incorrect.

now its even sticking w/ Pocket mirror XT(Spent $39.99) when it gets to the Calendar.  I've uninstalled and re-installed it 3 times??  What am I not doing?? Am I missing something when I re-install????

 Undecided I wouldn't have spent on PM XT just yet.
Question: after uninstalling P1 Desktop and HotSync Conduits (you are unisnatlling that as well, right?) and rebooting the PC and doing a fresh install of PM, when you open the HotSync icon on the Taskbar and do a Configure, do you see just 1 entry of each of the Calendar, Contacts, etc?
  I had, as  I mentioned above to do this same thing because of the same issue you are experiencing.

OK now I've changed my conduits(and yes I have uninstalled and re-installed Palm software...a few times) so now the Hot Sync finishes but it says Calendar and Tasks " Failed"(see below) Sad.  And yes I have the conduits checked on my 650.

yes...but now as of 4:08 PDT I'm going ti uninstall/Reinstall both the Palm and Outlook and see if it will finally work.

Thanks for all of your replys...I'll let you know what happens...

still NO LUCK!!

When I switch the conduits to Outlook it does the synch u8t it dosent do the Calndaer and Tasks (see above post) when I switch to Palm it just gets stuck ERRRRRR!

Any other possible suggestions??

there used to be a program to "clean" the registry on installs that had corruptions... I'm not sure if it might be on the install CD or on P1's website. It might be worth looking there. I f I find it I'll post it here, unless someone or you finds it first.

In any event, are you able to make a backup of your Treo on SD then do a hard reset and try synching? I really don't recall wha texactly I did, but this might have been part of th procedure.... Undecided
