Just purchased the MOBO Wallet Organizer Case from Treocentral. They advertised it as "genuine leather" but when it arrived it was clearly vinyl. After contacting them and asking for the leather version I was told that the case I was shipped was leather and was not vinyl. The case shipped to me is definitely vinyl and Treocentral will not make good on this. They will take it back for a refund but I will have to pay for shipping costs.
False advertising and poor customer relations. Will not believe me but it very clear that it is vinyl. I can see the foam backing and the material does not have the leather look of the pores from where the hairs used to be. It also smells like vinyl. Maybe the manufacturer has sent them the wrong item and I wound up with it but at least Treocentral can look at it and refund the price plus shipping.
Anyone else have this problem with them? Angry

I have never ordered from treo central before and I can not check which case you purchase because treocentral seems to be down at the moment.  But if http://www.wirelessground.com/trmocawiwaor.html is the same case then I have seen the case and it is poorly made with cheap materials.  It seems like they have similar standard description of the case at everysite that sells it.  I would be happy if they are giving you a refund on the product and I doubt they will reimburse you the shipping cost because they consider the cost to be the same as if you drove to the store and bought it.

I wouldnt order anything from TreoCentral!  They just blow all the way around!  Ive heard too many bad stories just like yours of folks that had bad dealings with them.  There website is up one minute and down the next.  Guess that kinda tells you what kind of people are running that place eh?

Just took a look at some other Treo sites that offer cases. They all seem to use the same store front. Wonder if they know that this case is being falsely advertised?

Same situation for me. After ordered a carkit from TreoCentral they send me the wrong model whose cost half the price.
They never response at my mail.
Don't buy anything at TreoCentral.

I have started working with emarco so that he can return the case at no cost, and I have contacted the manufacturer to get details on the leather used for the case. According to our customer service staff they burned a case with a lighter, and the exterior did not melt away, as the way vinyl would. They are however Treo specialists, not leather specialists, so I am awaiting word from MOBO.

In regards to Lemaire, we have 5 full-time support personel and a call center that is open 8am - 8pm EST, so it is very easy to get a hold on us. Make sure to whitelist support@treocentral.com to ensure that our responses don't get lost in spam filters.

In regards to Yo-Yo's. We process a lot of accessory orders every month, and have very few returns and complaints so in majority of orders are very satisified with our service.

I've received many mails from treoCentral before the problem.
Afterwhat sales, support and rma will not responding (in fact, only one time more than a month ago to say they take the problem (away ?))

Yes I this has been taken care of after many tries. I can tell you for sure that the case shipped to me is not leather. I can see the foam make up of the material. Perhaps like I have already said the manufacturer makes a vinyl model and that is what was sent to me. My biggest problem is when I contacted Treocentral the reply was short and in a way insulting-to me telling me that what I was holding in my hands was leather. Maybe what they have in their hands is leather but not my case. I shouldn't be made to feel as though I am trying to cheat a company out of $4.95 in shipping. When I originally asked for the leather case to be sent to replace the vinyl one that request was ignored. Poor treatment by Treocentral. They have now fixed the problem by refunding the purchase price and shipping but I still do not have a leather case that I wanted.
