Well, after a almost 2 years of owning a Treo, and spending the last few months getting replacements for small errors (reset etc)...now with a new fixed Treo I've discovered how great it is with regard to added utilities and that sorta thing.

I've searched at length for this (on this board and the net) and couldn't find any specific info from Treo 755p. What's the best settings to use when converting a video via Super C to play on your Treop 755p (I'm using TMCMP....320:240? avi? 64 kbps?

I myself like to go with a bigger resolution. I keep the aspect but make the height 320. That way if I decide to zoom to full screen it still looks very nice. I dont know about the kbps I've tried many but usually try to keep it towards the best quality or a step below.

no problem.

Size will probably be an issue if you keep the resolution and quality high. It doesnt matter much to me since I have a 8gb card but it might to you. Its all personal preferences and tradeoffs. Smiley

I'm not familiar with Super C but have converted a lot of my DVDs to .avi's for my Treo using FairUse Wizard.  Like old_hatch I keep the original aspect ratio of my movies but usually just go for a height of 240, since by the time I've zoomed into a full screen square there's usually too much of the edges cut off to be watchable, and a lower resolution for a given bit rate yields better quality.  As for the bit rates, I use 256kpbs video and 128kbps audio, then set the algorithm to run at highest quality / slowest rip rate.  Conversion usually takes overnight, but the results are worth it.
