Synch Text Messages database between treo650 & treo600

Hi! Hopefully some of you might know the solution to my problem. I just bought a Treo650 and while trying to move all my old treo600 data to the 650, all the information was synchronized but text messages. I called Palm support and they told me there is no way to have them moved to the Treo650 because database format are different. Do you know if there is any way to make this work? I already tried creating a new folder, copying the database as regular files and it did not work....please help...! I know that somewhere there should be an answer for this.....

Unfortunately, they're right. We've never found a way of getting the SMS messages transferred from a 600 to a 650.

Some programs can backup sms, so you can backup sms in 600 and restore into your 650, given that program shall support 600&650
LookSMS is one of those based on Windows system, but its a chinese version, no english available for now.

I use FileZ http://mytreo.net/downloads/details-3.html to set the backup bit on the SMS database and then back it up using a hotsync.

Perhaps you can use this method to try some way of syncing the information?

It won't work - even if you put the 600's SMS database on the 650, the 650's SMS app won't be able to read it. (I know, I tried.)
