Move data from Verizon 1.03 to Verizon 1.05a

Hello, I'm having trouble moving data from a Verizon Treo 650 running 1.03 to one running 1.05a.  Can I downgrade the 1.05a phone to 1.03?

I bought a used Treo 650 from eBay.  It has Verizon 1.05a software, while my old Treo 650 has Verizon 1.03.  I tried to migrate all my data by doing a sync with my old phone, then syncing the new phone with the same profile.  This process did not copy over all of my programs, configuration, SMS, call history, etc.  It did copy contacts, calendar, tasks, and some programs.

Does anyone have the 1.03 firmware image?  Or can I get the 1.05a to read my old SMS, call history, etc?  Thanks.

if you still have the old 650 you could use a sd backup and restore it to the new phone, though there should be no reason the the hotsync did not carry over all the programs? a roll back would a) i think not be possible and b) not result in any change of situation
however as i said before a restore from a sd backup will restore all (including sms and email and stuff)

Great idea!  How can I do an SD backup?  Can you recommend a program that I should use?  I was considering hacking around with Resco Explorer.

At this point, I only want the call log and SMS messages.  I am manually reinstalling all the apps now, since I've been carrying forward the same installations for 4 years.

Use NVBackup and then do a selective restore
