Glued to Palm!!

« on: 04 November 2009, 13:51:22 »

Why is it that a web page will load but loads "downward" instead of "across" so I can read it?  I have my settings in Optimized mode and this is what I get.  In wide mode,  it loads correctly but I have to scroll across the screen to read it.  I will try to create an example:
I get this:

t
h
e
c
a
t
r
a
n

instead of:
The cat ran.

It's a Blazer frame-rendering problem. Pretty much all that needs to be said, since it's something about which there isn't really n e thing that can be done. I mean there are the obvious things like use a different browser, or stop the page load before it completes the format-rendering (so that the information is at least kept in readable order - I do this often when looking up something on wikipedia for example, since that is an example of a site withe problem), but web-browsing is pretty much gonna forever be the bain of POS for things like this.

Actually usually if you switch to "FAST mode" the text should be readable.

If you are doing this for wikipedia (the site that does this the most for me) try wapedia.mobi
