The microphone has stopped operating properly on my 680.  After the WD40 trick and a hard reset, it's not fixed. 

Any suggestions for a new treo?   Palm OS required.

Have you tried taking apart the device and examining the microphone?

I haven't.   The microphone works well most of the time, but cuts out periodically.  Think this might help?

It's worth a shot to see if it has any loose connectors or whatnot. If you're good with a soldering iron, you might be able to repair it.
