Palm Centro Freezing Problem Solved!!! Spread the word!!!!

Hi,

 

Since I bought Palm Centro I couldn´t use it properly due to the freezing problem...

 

But other day a saw at a forum some guy that installed a freeware called Treo Battery and the problem was solved!!!

 

1. Download and install the freeware "Treo Battery" (here at My Treo)



2. Choose "Sleep Mode" in the menu



3. Tick the "Poll batt every second when off" (only this option is necessary)

 

4. Never worry about Palm Centro freezing on incoming or outgoing calls again anymore.

 

 

The only downside (for some people) is that this option increases battery consuption, so you have to charge it every day.

 

For me it´s not a downside because I rather do it than have a useless Palm Centro (the freezing is very annoying...)

 

Thank you... and spread the work... Hundreds of Palm Centro users will need it! (specially the GSM version).

Are you sure it isn't just a luck? How long have you tested it? I have this problem with Centro GSM, but it's completly unpredictable - sometimes a month without any problem, than a day with 2 freezes.
