Yay Sprint (for once)   applaud

Now, I have bad reception.  Does this mean I could put my phone into roaming (which has better reception in my area) and still not be charge for mobile to mobile calls?  I'm guessing not Sad  Right now Sprint counts roaming minutes as anytime minutes.

Now if my 450 Anytime Minutes would grow to at least 500. It seems I go over 45 to 60 minutes more often than I like and occasionally a good (costly) bit more at $.45/minute over. If they don't want to raise the limit, how about a more reasonable $.20/minute overage.

This is a plus though as it should shave some billable time off my calls each month.

Thanks Sprint!

Crud, doesn't affect me at all.. I have 3 lines on an Everything Data 1500 plan, & the most minutes we've ever used was under 700.  I was hoping the 'Big News!' rumors would be something a bit more groundbreaking.

Yeah, fstop, wouldn't it be nice if Sprint had an everything shared plan that was less than 1500 minutes.  My husband and I just don't use that many.

Yeah, when it was just me and my wife on our plan we barely ever used more than 200 minutes, it's just when we added my sister that we've bumped up to 500-700/month. I guess it might be that way to encourage subscribers to add more lines Huh?

But indeed, an Everything Data 900-or even 700 (for like $99?)- would be AMAZING, I bet they'd get tons of new subscribers with that.. it would target the modern data/SMS-focused users, which are the majority of everyone I know my age.  I've gone a few months with less than 10 minutes of talk time for my line.  I just don't NEED that abundance of minutes, it's ridiculous that it's the lowest plan.

Now for us, this is perfect.  We've been pushing our 1500 limit, and having to kind of watch it toward the end of our billing period.  I don't like, that so I've been thinking about spending another $30 to go to 3000 minutes (overkill to be sure).

Any mobile solves it for us.

I just wish it would be free mobile-to-mobile, whether my phone was in roaming or not.

But, at least Sprint is giving us something besides grief...

Can someone explain exactly how this "Any mobile, anytime" plan works?? I just don't understand what they mean by "Unlimited domestic calls from the Sprint network to and from ANY U.S. mobile phone regardless of carrier. Any network, any time".....yet I see a plan for 450 minutes for $69.99 and a plan for 900 minutes for $89.99

So, is it unlimited minutes or what?? I just don't understand the whole Any Mobile, Anytime thing

ah, unlimited are mobile to mobile. minutes are for calling land lines...they do still exist...

p.s. land lines during the day. I believe night and weekends unlimited is included as well..

Also, calling a mobile number, while roaming will use your anytime minutes.  VOIP calls, like Vonage, Magic Jack and Google Voice will also use anytime minutes.

That being said, this is a great deal.

Not to pat Sprint on the back, but the "Any Mobile, Anytime" has cut our anytime minutes usage in half  Smiley

Now if only Sprint would offer a shared family anytime unlimited data plan that started at less than 1500 minutes...
