Hey guys. This works great.  Is there any way to decrease the font size WITHOUT having to use fontsmoother?  Perhaps a free program?  All I want is to reduce the text size in Opera, and I think the $13 is too much for that.

FontHackV

Thanks for the tip.  Which font did you use?  In FontHack, I can't seem to find the font I was using for fontsmoother... Huh?

they use different types, I think. in the main fonthack screen, check the menus. there is an option for font manager. there you can convert them...

I've given up on FonHackV - it crashed my Centro every time I tried to select a font...  Is there any way to get FontSmoother for cheap?  Like some special promo or something?

EDIT: So I tried it again and the font converter thing worked!  So I am using FontHackV right now in Opera.  Looks good so far... Thanks for your help!

Thanks, finally got around to trying this out- works great!

Too bad the files don't work globally for all Java apps.  Twim still gives an error message when trying to search files.

Just for the record: I found out that the problem was on Twim's end; now that they've updated to v1.15 I can browse & upload images just fine Grin  Previous post edited as well.

Hey......

Go to device Preferences (from your launcher) and you will find IBM Java VM at the bottom of the screen under 'Other'

This is were you set your IBM Java Prefs.......

duh  thanks

You're welcome.....

If you came back and said you couldn't find it, my next suggestion would have been, put the Centro and step away from the device........

Paul, you are the best! Your instructions for installing java vm worked perfectly on my Centro. Blazer is faster but Opera is easier to view pages. Many thanks!
