No doubt.  I can't wait for the SDK to be released.  Have you been following the progress in the webos development forum on precentral?

I really hope there's going to be another version of Butler for the Pre.  I need some led notifications, and persistent alerts if I miss a message.

some people on a diff forum have found a backdoor way to start working on apps without a SDK

I'm pretty excited about the Pre; It looks like a great device.

Two things though;
1) no sdk release yet
2) no devices for us folks in Europe  Cry

I'm definitely keen to support the pre though, I just can't say when.

Rob,
Once the SDK is released I hope you'd be willing to start porting some of your apps despite not having the Pre in Europe.  Us old timers would be more than happy to be your crash test dummies.  laugh

I have a better solution which is also cheaper!

1) you are already in the US (I'm guessing)
2) you buy a pre
3) send it to me   idea

same result achieved, and much more carbon friendly  Grin

OK Rob, I know you applied so I can't wait for Power Hero cause if a phone ever needed a power hero, the Pre certainly is it.  I know if you did get in you can't say anyway, but if you didn't then just let us know so we can stop anticipating.

By the way, just for fun, if you were to get in, in what order would you port your apps?  I personally think there is a market for Power Hero right now.

Hey babywayne.....

Watch out for ROB! He might want you to send your Pre to him, over somewhere in Europe, who knows where!

He wanted MINE! Yeah, like that would happen!  laugh
