Message Notification

Here is my issue. When I send a text message, I always get a a notification back saying the message was sent. Thats ok, but When it is on silent, it still vibrates, and these phones are really loud! Is there a way i can turn of the message notification at all or no? Or at least make it not vibrate?

it can be turned off via a registry change... this post links to the solution but looks like the site they're linking to is down right now...
