Hey everyone! a friend of mine, babywayne, told me that you guys might be interested in checking out my Centro customization website.

Since I guess I've never posted here I can't add a link...  it's phwelo.mobi and i made it to be accessed from your phone, but it'll work from your PC as well if you don't have a data plan

I have replacement alert icons (top left), battery icons, phone skins, messaging smilies, wallpapers, and some icons!  I also have tutorials posted in case anyone has any questions about using anything they find.  I'll keep an eye on this post as well

couple a things

Skins link goes to "Hacks" (though they are skins for stuff)
and Msg Me does a mailto:me as opposed to mailto:{yerphone#} and on the PalmPhone opens the mail program instead of the SMS I think (though I'd have to pull out my HTML for mobi reference) there is a sms link protocol.
and on the tutorial page you have a 5 but the is no link, also and I only tried it on the tutorial page but your hotkey (press 1 for Alerts 2 for wallpaper etc) 4 does not work

Yeah, that section was initially called hacks but I couldn't get adsense to approve me until i switched it.  With the mailto: most traffic is through desktop browsers so I don't want to do anything that would snub them

You may want to post here when the Verizon compatible ones are posted online just to prevent negative press about the skins not working.

Understandable about the mailto, but it (the msg Me link) does try to mail to "me." Me being the literal address it places in the address i.e. not phwelo@{removed for spambot}.com as the Contact me link does

Wayne, That Black one is awesome I may replace my skinner skin with that as the skinner skin crashes my phone and I'll just keep skinner for my cool Deathstar Welcome and Goodbye Screens

babywayne,  do you know the firmware version you're using?  I'd like to post it with the phone skins in case an update comes along.  also, i've updated my phone skins page to say that only works for sprint and that verizon will be coming soon

Thanks, this stuff is very new to me.  I have done any form of coding since Basic in HS.  

The best part about these is that it's actually modifying the Centro without need for another app installation.

If I do a hard reset will I need to reinstall these skins?  Also, if I full restore following the hard reset will these be restored?

good question, they don't stick after a hard reset.  if you hotsynch after a hard reset they will not be retained.  however, some backup programs will retain them.  i use resco backup and it will restore everything.
what you said about the apps not having to run on the phone is totally true, and it's what caused me to make all of this in the first place.  The Centro runs pretty fast before you load it with skinui, something to skin your phone app (or a third party phone app) and an always on IM client

haha, nah it's pretty easy actually, i haven't done much change on it in the past but i do know how to.  this is one of the carrier specific ones.  the default built into palmos only has 4-5 bars, while the ones added on by the carrier have like 10 bars.I previously made one that emulated the OSX wifi signal strength icon.

what color would people be interested in having?

It would be great to have it in the same color as the battery and Bluetooth icon, which ever one you choose.  Green looks OK.  Lighter colors work best for me due to my dark theme.
