Been running it for about 24-hours with no hiccups but no otherwise noticed changes in anything.

Thanks for the feedback! Palm is once again being vague about a software update, but it's good to hear that, at least, it hasn't broken anything.

Did you HotSync before you installed the update? Or, do you have backup of your device on your card?

I have a lot of business contacts i need to keep in my phone. You can find "some" help here... http://www.palm.com/us/support/downloads/centroupdate/verizon_faq.htmlBut it sounds like you didn't double check your HotSync prior to the whole process. You may recall the first step(s) were to HotSync with your desktop. This would/should have backed up your data on your PC. You could use Palm Desktop Manager to verify this (and for more power users, like myself, I use Microsoft Outlook for my data). You should have verified that data was on your PC prior to the whole process. There is no way to otherwise get the data, as part of the process you performed with the upgrade was a hard reset, which restored your phone to factory default settings. Again you should look at the FAQ above, and also try to load Palm's desktop software to see if your contacts are indeed there. If they are on your computer, then getting them to your phone is doable so long as you properly choose the right name/profile, etc.

I've noticed zero difference in anything with the 1.03 my guess is that it was a minor radio fix. Don't use BT so maybe some sort of fix in there But I notice nothing.

I have tried 3 times to download and install the updater to my Verizon Centro, but it only wants to install to the card. I specifically selected the update that does not go to the card, and, on my package installer when I try to change destination from card to device, it will not allow. Did I miss something, or will Vista and I have to install it to the card?

it sounds like youre trying to hotsync the update... or it could be a vista issue. dunno.
are you running the updater?

You are totally correct! The download was indeed an .exe. I placed it into the installer and kept trying to install it to the Centro instead of running the updater. After your message: EUREKA! It all went perfectly. Kudos to you, dweigh!
