Welcome to MTDN. There are at least two application to do this. I use PDA Net. http://mytreo.net/downloads/pdanet-for-treo-600,602.html

This is the correct version of PDANet (you need the 650/680 version): http://mytreo.net/downloads/pdanet-for-treo-650,603.htmlAnd PDANet allows you to use your data plan on your computer. To use the device as a dial-up modem, I think you might have to use Bluetooth.

Robin, thank you for cleaning up my mess . PDA Net works with Bluetooth or your USB hotsync cable.

Does PDANet allow you to use youe Treo as a dial-up modem? I think that's what the OP was looking for (using the phone minutes).

My apologies. PDA Net uses your data service, not phone minutes.

No worries. I'm not quite sure what the OP is asking either...

USB Modem allows you to use Treo 600, Treo 650, Treo 680, Treo 700p, Treo 755p and Centro smartphones as a USB modem
mobile stream usb modem (Im a new user it wouldnt let me post the link but you can search for that )
I prefer USB MODEM dunno if it will work on your model but works the best IMO for the 755p Im connecting to the EVDO network and getting around 150kbps actual download rate and a meager 14kbps upload... anyone else got any speed reports?

I think you can but you need some sort of application first. This web site mobile-stream.com ~ USB modem explain something about it. Personally I don't use my treo as an Internet connection. Hopes that help

midojo loves when someone posts without bothering to read the rest of the thread and/or even look at dates of posting off handedly wonders if should suggest a "resolved" mod for forum so subjects can be marked thusly with ease

An interesting feature on Dell's old community forums (hate their new one...not going back anytime soon) was the accepted solution marker. If a post was selected as the accepted solution, the post's background would have a green hue to it, and the thread would have a small checkmark next to the title. It's excellent on paper, but in practice, people don't always mark accepted solutions, so it can't be depended upon.

so it can't be depended upon yeah I meant more for moderators and admins easier than Tara's job over at the miranda.im forums (s/he's actually modifying posts with {resolved} I believe OMG that would be Horrible to the max here LOL)
