I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the hideous blue-ish purple selector in the launcher and make it controlled by the current theme, so if you're like me and don't like it, the only way to get rid of it would be to turn off Colors in Effects.

robin, I hate being a double poster but because i'm not sure if it's the actual skin or skinUI in general.  when using your vista skin (or a modification of it) blazer stops responding if the commandbar effect is on and u bring up the commandbar.  jic so u know, I'm using butler to launch cmd bar. it does this only with the cmd bar effect on.

With much respect Robin, I think this skin can do with a little sprucing up - or am I missing something?

MiDiJo, have you tried the Cobalt skin that comes with SkinUI? Does it do the same thing? I never tested the command bar before...

Thanks Robin for taking my post in the spirit in which it was made. 

It's just so ... gray! Why not a little more color?

Vista isn't all that colorful, and I am aiming for an accurate skin. Can you be more specific?

if more color is wanted. why not just modify the colors????? (not directed @ robin) this is what I did and you can do that within skinui (unselect vista skin, copy it, color it and go)

Robin, sorry to hear about the hideous blue colo.  I have a black Centro and that blue is really the only thing that I have a problem with.  Can you do the same color theme with the Cobalt skin.  The "steel" one available elsewhere is only v8 and doesn't support the 5 way button well. (I like the shape of the buttons on that skin a little better than the Vista, they look like native Palm only 3D)

Man, that's almost perfect.  I wish I knew how to get rid of the blue!  There must be a way because it has been done (the Cobalt Steel skin towards the bottom of the link)

Except it doesn't seem to fully support the nav key.

But hey, this skin rocks with the modifications.  What are you using to change the skin?

Tap Effects and turn off Colors. That will get rid of the blue.
