Guess I'll have to revert since the data plan just refuses to work and I can't get a reasonable solution to fix it. I'll have to try again. It definitely was faster after the update though.
Oh.. That's too bad. Why don't you send an email to Kocoman to find a solution. He helped me a lot. Good luck!

So when I download Lightspeed, do I wanna use the 700p or the 755p version after the ROMUpdate.
You can choose either. It is the same version for both.

What settings would you have used? Also, PXA Clocker does not work on the 700P. That is true also for the 680, 755P and the Centros.

It still resets, but it does work. Once simple way I can tell is when i'm on the wallpaper screen and after pushing the touchpad down, the list of favorites buttons comes up much quicker...switching between aps happens also. Only downside, which happens occasionally, it that going to the camera causes the display to mess up....it's been discussed on other forums. I've written the owner/creater of PXA Clocker, and while he replied immediately and exchanged a few emails back and forth about payment when I installed it on my 650, he never replies to anything when I ask about updates to make it run on my 700/755p. Here are the settings i'm using, and just like any Treo, some can be tweaked to run faster than others....good luck
SYS 221 BUS 221 - Don't do the SYS/2 MEM 221 - BUS is checked LCD 55 Turbo SYS x2.0 CPU CLOCK - 442 MHz
Now playing w/ the SYS speed seems to work the best, and anything over 2.0 w/ the Turbo SYS speed seems to just cause more resets when doing simple things....it's annoying as hell. Sadly, I got this 700/755 as a warranty exchange for one of my 650's, and to this day, I still want my 650 back, regardless of more internal memory.

Thanks but I still can't access my data connection. This is the only thing not working I think.
What is the error you are getting?

What is the error you are getting?
it keeps trying to log onto the sprint vision network but can't since I am with Verizon. I can't create a duplicate data connection as was suggested over at TC.

This software works great except for 1 problem I have.
I tried clicking on th IM button and it downloads the IM software onto treo, but wont run because it says not compatible. Is there a fix for this?

No: it won't work... and that's a GOOD thing, cause that "built-in" IM program sucks (allegedly)

Blackberry owners allege that the Treo sucks, i'd just like the option to try it out, ya know. In the meantime, I make sure that other people enter my phone number into their IM on their PC, so when they send me a message and i'm not logged on there, they can send it to my phone and it shows up as a text w/ some random 5 digit phone number...same results, just not the ability to write anyone else unless they write me first.

I flashed my treo 700p into the 755p but the Im app still knows its a treo 700p. plus the little details with added options here and there. there is no ad2p option. the Im+ doesn't work at all. I wish we can create custom roms. I want a updated treo650 rom. I like the old pics/video app. and they have too much control over what you put on the device. locked images, etc. any questions let me know I will answer
