Will the "0" button feature work in Google Maps on the Treo700p with the 755 ROM?

People with successful updates can you please check and see if the "My Location" feature works after the update. According to Google, 755 and Centro are supported for that feature and not 700p. This would be the only reason for me to update as it seems to be a very useful feature. Thanks in advance.

Where did it say the 755 supports MyLocation? Somebody lied (unless there was a new update in the past week or something Google knows that we don't know about one coming)

Zengof, 1) why if you are Verizon, do you need a sprint  firmware? 2) why, if you have a 650, do you need the 755 Update? 3) Why not just download the sprint firmware from the downloads section of mytreo, instead of pleading, like it's some sort of paid upgrade that you have to sneak around to get?

Look I've already told you that Both my and Kocoman's package use the latest 755 ROM there is no later. At that it doesn't work like that, as I said before you can't just load a 755 Rom onto the 700, it just won't work.  We hacked it so that it would work.  But putting the Sprint ROM on your VZW device is going to screw it up.  If you want the 755 ROM you need to use my package.  I don't understand what it is you are trying to acheive by going to another part of the forum to AGAIN ask for something which does nopt exist.
1.08 is the latest VZW or Sprint ROM if you have a VZW and you want 755 on your 700 then my package is what you need.  If there is a newer rom and I don't know about oit point me at it and I'll rebuild my package else. . .

You can not change a phone from verzion to sprint its a different op system like apple to pc it will not work

huggie, inital transfers from 700 to 755 were done on verizon phones (most notibly by Babywayne and Grundji as they were my impetus in creating my package).  This did cause odd behavior including the following:
No MMS (Sprint don't use MMS they use "picture Mail")
Random texts with wierd characters (Sprintmail TXT pushes)
lose of ability to do prl (PRL had to be manually loaded)
A creation of a New Network connection with the VERIZON information was needed (And I don't think any on was ever able to get it )
but yes the phone (and phone functions) did work on a verizon turned to sprint.

Yes I understand that but If you are wanting to keep using the phone u need to use proper update not one for a different network all they need to do is read the forum then download the program and install
