Engadget has the goods -
http://www.engadget.com/2007/10/24/palm-treo-800w-revealed/

Appears to be a render as opposed to an actual photograph.

Availability is said to be 1Q 2008.

I'll post an image and thoughts after some sleep.

I don't know how the image came about, but it looks much better than the 500 and Centro. Looks like a combination of the 500 and the 680, I like it! Smiley

EDIT: But I'm still getting my 755p...who knows when Verizon will get it. 2009 maybe? laugh

Hey....

It looks interesting. I would like to know the specs.

It might be something to consider to use my Palm WIFI card with, or that new Eye Fi 2 gig card with WIFI..

Robin, You aren't holding your breath waiting for the Verizon   755, Centro or 800w are you? laugh

I'm holding my breath for the 755p. Starting to turn a bit green. laugh

If I held my breath for the Centro, I'd be riding in a hearse. The 800w...well, I would be a skeleton. laugh

Thanks, Robin.  I had thought the 500v and the Centro would be the same size...guess not.

The 500v is wider because it has a wider (as in physically) screen that is 320x240.

The 500w looks a bit like the HTC-S620 (wifi;bt;no 3G) but I like the Ubiquio 503G that looks a lot like a Treo but with a squashed screen (lots, lots, lots of memory and wifi,bt,3G, WM6, 2 cameras, etc, etc, link here www.expansys.com/zoompic.aspx?type=item&i=147071)

That's rather nice...except for the Windows bit.   uhoh   I wouldn't mind a "squashed" screen myself - things might appear better in a screen that more closely resembled that of a pc.
